Function of the Owner & Daily Tasks
The Franchise Owner is traditionally the face and voice of their business, spending the majority of time building relationships with referral sources. In addition, the owner oversees the operational functions of the business, caregiver recruitment & retention as well as financial management. ComForCare is an owner/operator model and is not suitable for absentee ownership. Husband
and wife teams tend to do very well.
Employees
- The ComForCare business model requires only two full-time employees to launch and operate during the ramp up period:
- A Business Development/Marketing person (traditionally the Owner, as described above) and
- An Administrative Coordinator whose key role is to maintain the office, recruit & manage the caregivers, and to help the owner build the office team necessary for growing the business and maintain ComForCare’s high standards of care.
- A part-time or per diem Registered Nurse serves as a valuable member of the team, primarily for the initial client intake and assessment stages. Caregivers are part-time employees and the number of caregivers is managed according to client need.

Prospect’s Perception of the Company (what concerns may surface):

TM program helps our owners recruit, hire and retain the best quality caregivers in their area and positions the company as “employers of choice”. Key elements include:
- Caregiver Lead Generation Campaigns
- Comprehensive 10-Step Hiring Process
- Continuous Specialized Training and Career Development Paths
